Ingredients
- 3 frozen bananas, peeled
- 1 cup (250 mL) plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) cooked or canned lentils, drained & rinsed
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) old fashioned oats
- 2 Tbsp (30 mL) almond butter
- 2 tsp (10 mL) vanilla
- 1 tsp (5 mL) cinnamon, plus more for garnish if desired
- 2 Tbsp (30 mL) maple syrup, or more to taste
- 1 cup (250 mL) ice, plus more if desired
Directions
Combine bananas, yogurt, lentils, oats, almond butter, vanilla, and cinnamon in a blender. Blend until smooth.
Add maple syrup and ice, and blend again until smooth. Taste and adjust, adding more maple syrup for a sweeter smoothie, or additional ice for a thicker consistency.
To serve, sprinkle with cinnamon, if desired. Enjoy!
