Lethbridge College invites farmers and those working in the field crop industry to attend the inaugural FARM FIELD DAY on Wednesday, July 13, at the Lethbridge College Research Farm. Be ready to learn about the college’s growing capacity in ag research, and talk with our scientists about: Irrigation and soil science projects: soil moisture monitoring, subsurface drip irrigation, GHG emissions in potatoes, and the irrigation demo canal. Post-harvest technology projects: new bin yard with grain drying and storage infrastructure, reducing storage losses in specialty crops, and best practices for drying grains and oilseeds.
