Feed Pea Benchmark Report May 27/18 MAY 28 2018 | Producers

Corn, feed wheat and barley prices remained stable across the Prairies although ongoing uncertainty in the world wheat markets continues to apply upward pressure on these commodities. Corn DDGS prices remained unchanged to slightly lower depending on truck availability for bringing back product from the US. Protein values (soybean and canola meal) continued to be volatile but ended this pricing period down by $10-15/T across the Prairies. Feed peas and faba beans continued to trade in the 255-260 range in Saskatchewan, 265 in Alberta, and 265-270 in Manitoba.
