Faba Bean Feed Benchmark June 13/18 JUN 13 2018 | Producers

Feed wheat prices remained stable across the Prairies over the past two weeks. Feed barley prices increased by another $10/T in Manitoba and Saskatchewan but remained unchanged in Alberta. Corn prices plummeted by $10/T on a weakening futures market concerned about possible trade wars and favourable growing conditions for the new crop. Soybean meal and canola meal similarly fell $20-30/T due to the same reasons. Corn DDGS followed the corn market downward, decreasing by an average of $15/T across the Prairies. Feed peas continued to trade in the $260-265/T range in Alberta and Saskatchewan and $265-270 in Manitoba..
